PREAMP: Tri-logic 2 Bass Preamp
Three Band EQ (high, mid, low) boost & cut. Center position produces flat, unaltered sound, with no added tonal coloration.
* Mini Toggle Switch - Use the Switch closer to the headstock to switch the mid-frequencies (400Hz/800Hz), and the other Switch to switch the treble-frequencies (6Hz/12kHz).
* Pre-set gain control to boost gain by one to three times (located in back panel for easy access).
* 18V drive is for more headroom, which allows incoming signals to pass through cleanly, without clipping the high-end or low-end frequencies. (Requires two 9V batteries)

TUNERS

Trusted for its quality and precision, we use the Hipshot Ultralite for the machine heads. They are durable and lightweight, which helps for longevity and prevents head dive.

FRET

Jescar Fret Wire is an industry standard fret wire that is chosen for its high quality. It is trusted for its superior precision and durability by makers such as Gibson, Martin and Tom Anderson. The FW9665 model used for the XP series, has proper height and trusted stability in pitch.

BODY

Alder and Ash wood give the XP series a solid low and low-mid range of tone, something that lighter wood bodies can’t achieve.
The XJ’s body is based on original P-Bass designs with Xotic touches like the rounded neck joint heel and cut-away that improve playability in higher positions.

PICKUPS

2 coil bobbins for 1~2 string and 3~4 string are configured to cancel the hum noise.
In the case of 5-string, 2 coils aren’t symmetrical. By using the Alnico 5’s equalized magnet, wires that suitable for each of the 2 coils, and utilizing a different coil design, we succeeded in adding a solid & heavy Low-B sound of P-Bass.

BRIDGE

The XP series use special bridge which brass alloy does not insulate vibrations from the strings, giving it fat and solid tone. This bridge provides adjustments to the pitch and tension of each string allowing for a custom setup.

PREAMP

The Xotic Bass preamp is modern feat of engineering with its tiny size and huge sound. Master volume (push/pull for active and passive), 3-band EQ, Mid and Treble frequency selector and 20db of boost this preamp allows the player enjoy a clean, musical and full-bodied active EQ and boost.
